Dallas Cowboys are forced to trade Ceedee Lamb on….

The primary news that everyone is anticipating from the Dallas Cowboys camp is the signing of quarterback  Dak Prescott to a new contract.

Dak is well-known for releasing a soundbite that will keep playing until he strikes a new contract. “Money is not the reason I play.” If that is the case, Mr. Prescott, then ask your agent, Todd France, to come to the table and somewhat release his hold in order to complete this.

However, a lot of Cowboys supporters don’t even want Prescott to sign a new contract because they see his playoff results as proof positive that he isn’t the quarterback who can take the Cowboys to the promised land.

I ask those people, “Why?” The stats show that Prescott has been among the NFL’s top quarterbacks. You can refer to him as a regular season fighter, but he has shown himself in the postseason as well.

I came saw a fascinating picture today that illustrates how absurd the “playoff Dak” story is.

I’ll utilize the data in this graphic to show you why it’s a lie that “we need to cut Dak because he doesn’t perform well in the postseason.” Although you could feel at ease going back to quarterback purgatory, those of us who recognize Prescott’s value to this club know better.
