He averaged 11.9 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game, starting in 14 of the 28 games he played.

Wright’s collegiate debut was notable, as he scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds against Gonzaga. He set a Baylor freshman record with 13 assists in a game against Norfolk State. In a matchup against BYU on January 28, 2025, Wright scored 22 points in an overtime loss.

Prior to Baylor, Wright had a distinguished high school career. He played his first three years at Neumann Goretti High School in Philadelphia, where he averaged 22.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.4 steals per game as a junior, earning the 2023 Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year award.
